MilTax: Tax Services for the military
Members of the military should strongly consider using MilTax to prepare and file their taxes. Sponsored by Miltary OneSource and the Department of Defense, MilTax is a suite of FREE tax services for the military, including tax preparation and e-filing software, personalized support from tax consultants, and current information about filing taxes in the military.
The self-paced software provided through the MilTax program guides users through the tax preparation process question-by-question, allowing for an effortless preparation of federal tax returns (and up to three state returns) at NO COST. The software provider even guarantees the accuracy of the calculations.
